Helping people with IBS live freely and feel in control again
Hi, I’m Grace, a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Breath Coach. I specialise in gut-directed hypnotherapy for people living with IBS and stress-related symptoms.
For much of my earlier career, I worked as a freelance IT consultant in high-pressure environments – mostly in the financial sector. Stress was constant, and I lived with tension and anxiety that eventually led to burnout.
On the outside, I was functioning. But internally, my body and mind were under immense pressure.
Everything shifted when I discovered hypnotherapy. For the first time, I had a tool that allowed me to calm my nervous system in a real and lasting way. I could feel my body moving out of survival mode – and the impact was powerful. I felt clearer, more balanced, and better able to cope with the demands of everyday life.
I later trained in breathwork – another simple but highly effective way to regulate the nervous system and reconnect with the body. These tools changed how I managed stress and supported my health. I wanted to share them with others.

What others are saying about their experience

“I had been trying meditation for stress and anxiety for a number of months, but, although it did help, I didn’t feel it went deep enough. Then I met Grace... I felt completely at ease and able to trust Grace. She took the time to get to know me ... and then she developed this further during our time together. I found the techniques we went through, extremely helpful and effective. I feel like new person who is no longer bothered by the feelings and emotions that used to take over my day. Friends and family have also commented on the difference.
... All I can say is – thank you Grace!”

A shift in focus
From chronic stress to IBS and gut health
I began working with clients facing chronic stress because I understood its toll. Over time, I saw a strong connection between stress and gut symptoms – and that led me to specialise in IBS.
Gut-directed hypnotherapy allows me to bring together everything I’ve learned about the nervous system, emotional resilience and helping the body shift into a state of ease and safety.
Many of my clients have lived with IBS for years. They’ve tried diets, medications and strategies that only go so far. My work helps them find consistent relief, rebuild confidence and restore balance between the mind and body.
The goal is simple: to help you feel better, live freely, and take back control of your well-being - because life is too short to be ruled by IBS.
I’m here to support that journey.
Helping you feel better from the inside out

Why gut-directed hypnotherapy works
Science-backed and clinically recommended
IBS is no longer viewed as just a digestive issue. It is now recognised as a disorder of gut–brain interaction (DGBI), where miscommunication between the brain and gut leads to ongoing symptoms.
Gut-directed hypnotherapy helps retrain those signals. It reduces gut sensitivity, supports nervous system regulation, and breaks the cycle of stress and symptom flare-ups.
This approach is:
- Based on 30+ years of clinical research
- Endorsed by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE)
- Safe, drug-free and non-invasive
- Suitable for people with all IBS subtypes – including IBS-C, IBS-D, IBS-M and IBS-U
Many clients report improvement in symptoms like bloating, pain, urgency, and irregular bowel habits – as well as improved sleep, reduced anxiety and greater confidence.
